Singapore

Day 52

Today we came within 15 minutes of missing our flight to Singapore.  This was no fault of our own, the flight company moved our flight forward by 1 hour and 10 minutes! They did not inform us of this, thanks for that!!! We arrived at the airport  or so we thought with 2 hours to spare.  It was more like 45 minutes and check in was on the verge of closing.

A short 2 hour flight and we were in Singapore and soon we were in our 18 bed dormitory!!!! The Royal Hostel......Why ow why did we book this.  There is two toilets and two showers that are shared between this dorm and another.  I am too old for this!

Anyway after getting out of there we wondered around China Town and had some delicious street food. Plus a large tiger beer, think I will need it to try and sleep in the hostel.

In the evening we headed back to hell sorry I mean the  dorm, where people were messing around till god knows what time. One guy switched the lights on till midnight so he could pack his bag, even though he had said he done nothing all day, but sleep and lounge about.  A typical bum travel moron!
