So Tired
After a 11 hour flight we were both absolutely wrecked after getting about an hours sleep. It was only a ten minute drive to the hostel, picked up by the free shuttle bus however the room was not ready for a good couple hours - after it took 6 of us to work out that it was only 6.30am Tuesday (we had set off 9.30pm Sunday night) - this made our decision about staying up for the rest of the day.
We did get chatting to some travellers a nice english guy from Cornwall and american dude from LA (the nice part of Santa Monica!). Also chatted to a nice german girl however she is one of these people ' who classes herself as real traveller'!!!! If you have ever watched inbetweeners 2 or been travelling yourself, you will know exactly what I mean. Basically everything they have done is better, more extreme and they visited more remote places. Also they are taking a full year as that is what a real traveller does, staying $3 crap holes as it's about the experience and think that they are hardy because having having a cold shower is actually a luxury after where they have stayed - well Fuck off back to your tent in the Himalayas or wherever you came from !!!
Ow if you are wondering why it is day 20 and 21 it is because we flew over the international date line and missed a whole day while flying. It is also scorching hot, when the cloud burns off, far too warm for sunbathing. Hopefully off out on a boat trip in a day or two.
